Art piece for my 100 Theme Challenge.
Number 061: Kyousousha - Rival

I've been wanting to use this theme for quiet a while and by making Venus I finally have something that fits it too <3
This picture was such a pain |D Sketching was easy, ink was easy but colors, dear god it took me like 3 hours just to find a good combination. I still, not quite satisfied actually but I just don't want to poke at it anymore >3>.
So, before Venus, Mars never really had a person she could really call her rival, but when the agency stuck them both together she suddenly felt the pressure of having to better than him.
Doesn't help that Venus loves teasing her xD He sees her more like a friend to have fun with than a rival and when she denies him the friendship he results to teasing her in him own annoying and adorable way. He is convinced he is cuter than her and throws it in her face every chance he gets, of course Mars always tends to counter with the fact that she would probably make a better man than he would ever be, but her teasing isn't nearly as effective as his xD
I swear the background took no more than 10 minutes, it's supposed to be a setup for a photo shoot, and Venus is working Mars' last never before they get to go on. Mars is however very good at shutting him of during the shoots, she treats him like white noise, she does that with everything when she's being photographed. Much to Venus' disappointment.

Ive aready said I liked the expressions, and yes. I do. ^.^ But the outfits. The outfits look amazing. You gave them both awesome colors, and designs to their outfits, and the background, regardless of being possibly no more than 10 minutes sketched in? Looks really good. It lets the viewer know where they are with a quick glance around the page, and then back to the characters at front where all the action really is.
